Thank you for visiting our site and your interest in Teign Valley Players.

You will be glad to read that Bye George was staged successfully on 31st March and 1st and 2nd of April2022.

Our audience was smaller than usual. This was partly by design and partly a reaction to the Covid Pandemic and

customer caution.  However it was enjoyed by all and the Critics were very complementary.

The cast was very relieved to perform after so many set backs including having to cancel at the last minute in March2020.

Our very generous sponsors and a grant from The Devon Community Foundation have ensured that, in spite of the smaller audiences, Teign Valley Players has  adequate reserves to finance another play in the spring of 2023.

In the mean time  please visit our site occasionally as we will be publishing details of other live events which may appeal:-

George is  dead. His widow, Evelyn, is thrilled, so much so that her friends decide it will create a problem for the funeral. George’s sister Joy flies in from the USA, suspects foul play, hires a private investigator and lays down the gauntlet. Joy demands that the mourning should be appropriate or else. Seeking to help Evelyn are her three friends-Donna, Clara and Ruth. They hire an unusual cast of characters to get Evelyn “funeral ready”, but will it work, and why has she reacted this way anyway?
